**Travel is extensive for this role and is expected to be around 75-80%.**

**The Startup Operation members (SET Ops) acts as a setup consultant and handles all aspects of new business startups along with ongoing support of Field Operations. This includes both driver and manager training for basic system operations and often includes aiding and functioning in the expected role. As such, the ability to prioritize work-tasks and manage the day-to-day task items are requirements of this position. Additionally, the team engages and takes part in the writing of process documents, system testing, and even design-level consulting for new pieces of the product.**

+ Members of Start Up team focused on flawless execution and adherence to pre-established customer critical success factors

+ Ensuring both drivers and managers understand the core operations and systems used for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing

+ Acting as an arm of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during the startup phase

+ Training of new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group

+ Building out of process flow and providing guidance on consistency of operations

**Additional Responsibilities**

+ Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts

+ Operational and Systematic understanding of HOS and ELD

+ Operational understanding of Safety Policies and Procedures

+ Understanding of month end close, preferred

+ Ability to perform all tasks within Transportation Management System, currently TMW: including trip entry, planning worksheet, payroll/billing, and running reports is highly beneficial

+ Knowledge and inner workings of a driver route tool is a plus

+ Experience in a transportation company especially with drivers to understand fundamentals of HOS and ELD and proven ability to make sound judgements


+ Bachelor's degree required in business, logistics, transportation. A combination of other education and experiences will be considered.

+ Five (5) years or more in the management of warehouse and/or transportation operations required
