Maintenance Technician (Millwright) - (Borger, Texas, U.S.A.)

Reports to the Maintenance Trades Supervisor.

This position is located in Borger, Texas, U.S.A. and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:
  • Maintain mechanical equipment including steam turbines, gear boxes, blowers, compressors, and various types of pumps
  • Ensure safe and efficient work practices, including following and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform daily maintenance and overhauls on all rotating equipment, as required
  • Perform daily and routine preventative maintenance on rotating equipment, as required
  • Perform millwright work including major overhauls of rotating equipment
  • Document repairs and reliability information on equipment
  • Follow written procedures and completing detailed checklist
  • Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to develop PM Standards on equipment
  • Attend and complete required training, internally and externally specific to job skills
  • Play a critical role not only in ensuring your own safety but the safety of others
  • Ensure familiarity and demonstrate the Commitment to Zero policy, as well as lead with a safety mindset
What you will bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in pump alignment to meet industry standards
  • A valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of various types of mechanical seals, different types of bearing and bearing arrangements
  • Familiar with the use of dial calipers, dial indicators, OD & ID micrometers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and data management systems including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in excess of standard schedule including call-outs and holidays
  • Ability to operate various types of equipment and/or earn certification
  • Ability to work in a team environment, maintaining motivation and willing to accept ownership and accountability
  • Posses troubleshooting and analytical ability
