As part of the Elite PCU - Med/Surg Acute Care Nursing Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to age-specific patients on the PCU and Medical Surgical Units. Follows the Board of Nursing’s (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.
Minimum # of 12 hour Shifts per Pay Period
Weekend and holiday requirements
Full-time / FT benefits
4 w/e shifts per 4 wks and 2 major and 2 minor holidays

Education / License / Certifications:
- ADN required
- BSN required within 24 months of hire
- Current Texas RN License
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.
- Certification in area of specialty preferred.
- Minimum 18 months experience within an acute care hospital with a minimum one (1) year on a Progressive Care or Med/Surg Unit.
