The Military Space Guidance, Navigation, and Control \(GN&C\) team is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that design and produce the hardware, algorithms, and software required to solve the challenging problems of controlling these systems in a harsh, zero\-g environment\. Are you willing to join this team and help solve these challenges in a team environment using your GN&C academic background and spacecraft industry experience? Do you have experience in leading a team of GN&C engineers? If so, consider this GN&C technical leadership position on an exciting space program\. You will be the GN&C Responsible Subsystem Engineer \(RSE\) for this new exciting smallsat program\.

**This position in contingent upon program award expected around Q3 2021 \.**

You will typically have 14 years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree in this position\.

**This position requires that you will be willing and able to obtain a Top Secret DoD clearance w/SCI \.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline

\- Demonstrated team leadership skills in spacecraft GN&C

\- Experience with simulation and programming tools \(ex\. Matlab/Simulink, C\+\+, Python\)

\- Ability to perform spacecraft GN&C design and analysis tasks

\- Knowledge of an entire spacecraft development cycle including operations

\- Strong interpersonal skills

\- Possess an Active TS clearance with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI clearance

**Desired Skills:**

\- CORESIM experience

\- Experience with LM400

\- Experience with flight software development and autocode to C\+\+

\- Familiarity with a GN&C hardware suite for space applications

\- Experience going through a spacecraft program life cycle encompassing requirements generation, design, analysis, integration, verification, and testing of the GN&C subsystem for space applications

\- Mission operations experience with relative navigation

\- Ability to work in a fast\-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment

\- Demonstrated good communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers\.

\- Active TS/SCI clearance
