LinQuest is seeking a Advanced Plans Systems Engineer SME to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in architecture and requirements development for VSPO programs and their integrated performance within the broader enterprise
  • Support studies, trades, and analyses required for future acquisition planning in (communications architectures, communications link budgets, availability, reliability, geolocation, SIGINT performance capabilities, Electro-Optical performance capabilities, radio frequency interference (RFI), resiliency, RF signals, orbit selection and optimization, mission basing assessments and processes, segment response time, cross-program studies, computer network design, and remote operations)
  • Support system concept and trade studies related to development of Space and Ground Element related technologies for insertion into designated VSPO programs, to include evaluation of technology maturity level, insertion strategies, mission benefit, cost estimate, and risk to baseline VSPO programs
  • Provide support for payload enhancements, to include trade studies, development, integration and test, verification, and integration with a space vehicle
  • Support frequency management activities for current and future VSPO systems, to include maintenance and analyses associated with existing frequency allocations and all activities necessary to request new or modified frequency allocations


Required Experience:

  • BS degree in a technical field with abet accreditation is required to be considered for this position
  • 5+ years of Space Systems experience in communications architectures
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered for the position


Preferred Experience :

  • Master or PHD in a technical field with abet accreditation is required to be considered for this position
  • Space systems architecture and requirements for VSPO programs
