Overview:

The Procurement and Supply Chain team is looking for a driven, hands-on, business-minded individual with a strong grounding in analytics, process, and people management. The individual must work to improve the business using a mix of analytical and design capabilities to provide insights that drive change and improvement. The best candidate will be able to ascertain the true needs of the business, and drive methods for meeting those needs. He or she will be able to transfer input from across the functions into usable data and business requirements.

 

The individual will work within the Procurement and Supply Chain team and provide business insights and analytics on the broader Operations organization. The position will extend outside of data and also work on business processes and technology projects. Because the Business Operations team works across many functions in a fast-paced industry, the individual must be able to thrive in a high growth environment and be comfortable working with changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a business partnership with Senior Leaders of several key areas of the business, learn their key processes, and assist them in achieving their directives through use of data analysis and reporting.
  • Build and manage analysis activities including models, dashboards and reporting packages in multiple environments.
  • Identify and monitor key financial and operating metrics, business risks, and opportunities.  
  • Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to operations and key interface groups.
  • Translate data into meaningful information, to drive decision making, automation and process improvement, and uncover performance opportunities.
  • Research data sources to develop metrics for monitoring and proactively improving operations business; develop quantitative operational and financial models as needed.
  • Drive automation of routine data collection and develop reporting processes that aid operational performance management.
  • Perform benchmarking analysis to related industry & best practice organizations.
  • Prepare regular & ad hoc reports and presentations; respond to information requests.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, Statistics, or related field preferred
  • Deep analytical experience with high familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel)
  • Ability to think strategically about uses of data; Must be an expert storyteller through data and visuals
  • Experience presenting and reporting on plans and analyses to appropriate stakeholders
  • Applied knowledge of financial and operational business metrics
  • Concise communications skills and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to execute on multiple projects within defined timelines. 
  • Must be highly self-motivated with ability to lead and inspire others to go above and beyond
  • A team player with ability to maintain focus and good humor whilst working in a fast paced environment with rapidly shifting requirements.
