Diverse Segments Representation and Inclusion (DSRI) - DSRI partners with Wells Fargo’s business leaders on the strategy, operations, and delivery of products and solutions specifically for diverse customer segments or underserved communities. This group is an important part of our overall commitments to advance our diversity efforts internally and externally. DSRI drives accountability for leading and advancing the Company’s diversity and inclusion efforts in the marketplace and workplace, with the goal of leading the financial sector in its contribution to closing the wealth gap of diverse communities.

The Analyst will be part of Wells Fargo’s DSRI Analytics, Market Intelligence and Strategic Support team and will report to the Head of DE&I Insights, Analytics & Strategy.  This group develops and implements DSRI’s data analytics framework, associated reporting and the market intelligence and strategic support functions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leverage data visualization and dashboarding tools like Tableau to provide metrics and reporting on diverse segment employees and customers, both on an ad hoc and production basis
  • Provide metrics and reporting on diverse segment employees and customers, both on an ad hoc and production basis through use of dashboards and scorecards.
  • Effectively partner with Diverse Segment leaders and other senior managers, provide leadership for the identification and transformation of data into actionable information that drives strategies resulting in positive outcomes for diverse employee and customer segments
  • Implement controls and processes within the business to ensure adherence to relevant risk management, legal and compliance expectations and requirements.
  • Regularly contribute to employee and customer research methodologies, including quantitative analytic frameworks and/or qualitative ethnographic research
  • Understand business strategies and objectives and collaborate across the enterprise to predict current and future needs.
  • Work with Teradata SQL to supoprt data aggregation and conduct analysis using querying languages, including but not limited to SQL, SAS, R, and Python.
  • Understand diverse segment benchmarking of primary competitors and other companies outside of Financial Services.
  • Identify and anticipate changes driven by the current business environment, and initiate effective organizational transformation, design and associated change management.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of strategic planning experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in relationship management
  • 5+ years of experience in data-driven analytical roles
  • Demonstrated analytical experience coupled with proven problem solving capabilities
  • Experience with HR analytics, benchmarking and market intelligence
  • Experience developing frameworks for data analytics, metrics and dashboard and associated reporting
  • Experience translating data from multiple sources into actionable and meaningful insights and impactful presentations that drive change.
  • Strong collaborative style, with an execution and results-oriented focus
  • Knowledge of Financial Services and other related industries (technology, manufacturing, retail, consumer packaged goods, etc.) and understanding of emerging trends, compliance, regulatory, and economic environment, and the impact on Wells Fargo
  • Experience gaining credibility, respect and consensus through strategic vision and outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades, educates and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Demonstrated passion for diversity, equity and inclusion of diverse segments
  • Undergraduate college degree required; Master’s Degree strongly preferred
