Wells College is seeking applicants for an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BIOLOGY (tenure-track), beginning August 16, 2021.

We seek a versatile colleague who has a demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and can teach undergraduate anatomy and physiology, vertebrate zoology, introductory organismal biology, capstone courses in the biological and chemical sciences, and other courses. The successful candidate will also supervise undergraduate research, and advise and mentor students in Biology and Health Sciences .

D. in biology or related field

Relevant teaching experience

Experience conducting research with undergraduates

Record of publication and scholarship

Experience advising and mentoring undergraduates from diverse groups
