Title: IT Quality Control Advisor

Location: Norfolk,VA

                 Atlanta, GA

Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages the relationship with peers in IT and business for system(s) supported.
  • Leads and coordinates all testing within a system area. 
  • Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components. 
  • Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design. 
  • Reviews/Approves all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
  • Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.
  • Manages both onshore and offshore test execution resources for project under test. 
  • Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.

Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; minimum of 5 years of testing and product quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Minimum 5 year of System Integration testing experience with active collaboration and co-ordination with integration teams.
  • Minimum 3 years of Test Automation experience, preferably on selenium.
  • Builds and maintains virtualization services using SOAP UI or equivalent tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of testing experience on SQL Server/Oracle/DB2 and reporting tools like Business objects, Tableau
  • Minimum 4 years of experience using Agile software development methodologies.
  • Self-organized and leading testing team along with individual contribution.
  • Researches and implements best practices in relation to testing and virtualization.
  • Understanding of performance tool like load runner.
  • Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE preferred.
  • Executes testing across multiple testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and Regression.
