In this role, you will have a broad range of responsibilities across the product/program lifecycle and will include leading all aspects of technical work related to the design/integration/test of optical payload algorithms, simulations, processing implementations and associated demo results\. You will utilize subject matter authorities, payload system architects, and EO product engineering resources across the organization to optimally develop image/signal processing architectures, develop requirements and specifications, prepare and hold design reviews, lead procurement, integration, and testing\. We are looking for someone who knows how to nurture and maintain strong relationships with stakeholder programs, customers and executive leadership through outstanding communication\. You should thrive while leading projects in an agile, fast\-paced environment and have a proven understanding of project management practices suited to space payload developments\.

This position calls for a consistent, responsible, deadline\-meeting professional who will:

• Develop detailed project plans that align to top\-level objectives

• Coordinate technical teams to meet project goals and deliver results

• Manage and track program performance against cost and schedule metrics

• Develop relationships with internal project partners, customers, and executive leadership

• Communicate technical concepts, trades, and status as well as project objectives, plans, and status in briefings and reports

• Guide teams to resolve unusually sophisticated technical issues and trades, balancing technical and programmatic objectives, risks and constraints

• Work with functional management to appropriately staff projects

This role requires the willingness to occasionally travel domestically\.

Ideally, you will have a background in remote sensing algorithm development and possess a degree from an accredited program in a related field, such as Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering/Science field, or equivalent combination of education and experience\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Current DOD Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in a field related to remote sensing algorithm development, such as engineering, physics, mathematics, or another related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Demonstrated organizational, planning, and leadership skills in a project management or Integrated Product Team \(IPT\) lead role

• Proven skills in communicating and building relationships with customer or stakeholder organizations

• Experience developing signal processing algorithms applicable to optical payloads \(3D imaging, detection & tracking, ATR\)

• Experience developing system performance estimations or system/signals simulations

**Desired Skills:**

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Science

• Experience managing programs for the DOD or other U\.S\. government organizations
