The SCS (Special Capability Sensors) Finance team is seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Manager to join the Proprietary and SOFI customer business area. The SCS team is part of the STS (Surveillance Targeting Systems) Product Area within the Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) Product Line of the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) Business. This role is a great opportunity to experience a very diverse and complex portfolio of Front End New Business, customer funded R&D (Research & Development), software services, low rate production and sustainment.

Key responsibilities include financial planning and analysis process on a weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual basis, drive timely and accurate EAC (Estimate at Complete) reporting on a quarterly basis, and ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting including any Earned Value (EV) requirements. This finance business manager is also a partner to various functional leads and works in collaboration on the successful capture/execution of proposals, Gate reviews, contract negotiations, and financial reporting. Other key responsibilities include developing and mentoring the finance analyst team and staffing team adequately upon successful program awards. The ideal candidate will actively work with Finance analyst team, Senior Program Managers, and other functional leads to drive financial results and influence successful business execution.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years (6 with a Master___s Degree in Business Administration) in related Finance/Accounting roles
  • Experience in EVMS application & execution (Ability to effectively analyze EVMS data to communicate and present information
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and adapt quickly to a wide range of work assignments and time requirements

Desired Skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools (SAP, BW/PRISM/APEX, RPlan or similar tools)
  • Working experience with EACs, variance analysis, and program forecasting
  • Strong organizational skills in coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization
  • Self-motivated to meet critical deadlines and develop applied solutions and process improvements to a variety of complex problems
  • Independently create and accurately analyze cost data
  • Experience comprehending, explaining and executing complex policies in all areas of Financial Management and Accounting
  • Experience in executing to different contract types (CPFF,CPIF,CPAF, FFP, FPIF and/or T&M), with an understanding of financial implications on program implementation of contract type
  • Experience in Long Range Planning (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and execution
