ManTech is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist as part of a team of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) personnel supporting a DoD program that implements, operates, and manages coalition networks around the world.  The team works with U.S. and foreign military intelligence organizations to create information sharing environments using highly specialized information technologies.

Description:

Senior Acquisition Support. Assist the BCO with the planning for future contracts and acquisition efforts. Assist the BCO with the receipt, management, and documentation of the execution and US BICES-X Enterprise contracts. Provide advice, recommendations and help the BCO craft the future acquisition strategy and follow on contracting actions. Provide project management advisory assistance for BCO procurement actions.

Perform general acquisition-related activities, including but not limited to the following: producing, in close coordination with BCO and MPCO, acquisition-related documentation an Acquisition Plan that includes a work breakdown structure, risk matrix, and risk mitigation strategies, IGCE, various sections of the solicitation package (e.g., scope of services, performance work statement, statement of objectives, transition plan, instructions to the offeror, market research, and evaluation criteria), a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, proposal instructions, Source Selection Evaluation Plan and Technical Evaluation Report. Help the BCO with Requests for information and coordination of Industry Days.

 

Requirements:

  • Ten or more years of project management experience with DoD acquisition.
  • Must have supported Air Force source selection for a services acquisition within the last five years.
  • Experience with applying supplements, including the FAR to acquisition processes.
  • Experience in leading customer interactions to develop acquisitions strategies based on market research and solicitations with selection criteria or instructions to enable contract award to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Experience with source selections or major sole source procurement, including cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of contract documentation.
