Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Datacenter Administrator (SME) to provide unparalleled support for the Information Systems Division (TC) within the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing organizational and subject matter leadership to a team of datacenter infrastructure personnel.
  • Providing computer and storage deployment services across multiple sites while working with multiple vendors.
  • Establishing processes to deploy system infrastructure and commodities related to items such as physical servers, consolidated infrastructure, hyper/converged services, virtual storage platforms, wireless, and mobile network kits containing multi-disciplined technologies.
  • Working with agile teams to support the virtualization environment from design to implementation, and through its lifecycle. 
  • Creating templates and automation scripts using Systems Center Virtual Machine Manager, vSphere, PowerShell, and PowerCLI to improve the efficiency of VM deployments.
  • Supporting the installation of Hyper-V/VMware and operating systems.
  • Using SCCM to provide secondary software packages, including security services, database services, HTTPS, operating systems, predefined packages, and group policy objects.
  • Supporting the customer's future vision such as server/serverless, container services, storage and platform and provide budgetary information.
  • Managing relationships with manufacturers’ technical support teams to perform technical analyses, trouble resolution, design reviews, reporting, and user training.
  • Developing a roadmap to support future strategy and business mission.  assist in planning for the future strategy of the network. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of related experience
  • BS/BA degree OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree 
  • IAT Level II certification required within 6 months of TOA.


Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance


Physical Requirements:

  • Stationary work at an office desk setting 50% of time
  • Traversing to accomplish tasks by moving from one work site to another or between different floors in a building
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Ability to perceive and assess employee productivity
