FHPS Benefits Consultant

Hours – Monday – Friday Central time 10am – 6:30pm  (4 days) and 11:30am – 8pm  (1 day per week)

Locations: ALL US Locations

FHPS Benefits Consultant is Responsible for telephonically facilitating employee health benefits sales and retention and new member outreach to welcome them to the program and ensure they are enrolled in the product that best meets their needs.

FHPS Benefits Consultant Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
•     Contacts new members introducing them to the their product choice and welcoming them to the program. 
•     Enroll employees in products during open enrollment and new employees throughout the year. Prospecting and produce revenue through new sales.
•     Provides information to current and potential enrollees to highlight and explain benefit enhancements and/or changes.
•     Responds to inquiries from members and HR staff. 
•    Researches and coordinates responses to inquiries.
•    Works with Customer Service and Claims to resolve member issues. 
•    Remains informed of the various competitor products and participate and attend various training programs to enhance selling and servicing abilities.
•     Employs consultative sales skills to influence the decision making process.
•     Responds to inbound calls and chats regarding a variety of topics including benefits, new products, and service issues. 
•    Acts as back up in the field when necessary to fill gaps.

Qualifications - External


Health and Life license required within 60 days of hire.

Requires an AA/AS/BA/BS in Sales/Marketing or experience in a related field; 2 years of sales / service /hospitality experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
