The Opportunity

Our Denver, CO location is seeking a Class B Route Driver (Retail Technician/Hazmat Driver) to pick up inventory that is damaged or expired at retail locations throughout Colorado, Western Nebraska/South Dakota and Eastern Wyoming/Montana and then transport the inventory to a Clean Harbors facility for disposal. Candidates must will be travel overnight one night weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Driving a Class B Box Truck, visiting retail customer sites;
  • Segregating, packing and loading materials and waste products (inventory that is damaged or expired) for safe transportation;
  • Preparing DOT shipping documents;
  • Conducting projects/jobs according to site specific Federal, State and local regulations and health and safety plans as well as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., policies and procedures.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • CDL license, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire;
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain HAZMAT endorsement;
  • Previous commercial driving experience preferred;
  • Willing to travel overnight one night weekly.
