This is an opportunity to work with a technology company that is set to innovate the international nuclear safety market after achieving a high degree of success in the domestic market. This position is great for an engineer with a Chemical or Mechanical background. In this position, you will be able to lead a team in the design, implementation, and commissioning of systems that will have a unique and profound impact on nuclear plants throughout the world. This is a full-time position at the company’s home office in southeast Alabama and there will be international travel opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate current processes and develop improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency.

- Manages projects to include schedules, milestones, budgets, cost estimates,

- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.

- Provide training and mentorship to technical staff.

- Research, design, and develop new production processes.

- Coordinate and perform tests.

- Analyze data to develop conclusions.

- Clearly communicate results of analysis and research.

- Create standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.

- Install, maintain, and inspect equipment and facilities.

- Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of systems and instruments.

You will be mentored and developed by BMI alumni who have been with the company for over five years. The goal of this role is to become the operational leader of the project engineering team within 12-18 months.
