Responsibilities:
  • Providing data coordination and data management services. 
  • Supporting clinical research reporting for data review, quality control checks, and interim and final analysis.
  • Designing, developing, and validating databases and CRF's using application software suitable for supporting clinical research investigations.
  • Providing educational support and training to investigators and study staff for the development and implementation of research studies. 
  • Providing project and data management support for Ortho and Sports Medicine studies.
  • Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments, divisions, programs and other organizations.
  • Ensuring work in the CRP is performed in conformance with established hospital, program, federal, and state policies and procedures.

To qualify, you must have:
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in health science, mathematics or related field and a minimum of two or more years of data entry and data coordinator experience.
  • The analytical skills to handle clinical research data in an organized, accurate and timely manner.
  • A strong working knowledge of and experience with data management and statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R, and REDCap). 
  • Critical attention to detail and accuracy.

Boston Children's Hospital is a 404-bed comprehensive center for pediatric health care. As one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, Boston Children's offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age. (Our services can begin interventions at 15 weeks gestation and in some situations we also treat adults.)
