The Security Engineer – Tools & Technology reports to the HCE Product Security Leader and will be responsible to provide drive hardware selection, configuration, design, and process improvements within our products; and to provide mentorship to team members.

The Senior Cyber Security Architect will provide product expertise in security to development teams throughout all phases of the SDLC.

Proactive collaboration with broader security teams to establish and mature security and data compliance by design / default best practices; including process improvement, providing feedback to security feature and risk repository, as well as expanding and updating security architecture and standardized requirement repositories

Provide product security related mentoring and security expertise to all teams in HCE

Lead and coordinate multi-functional activities for incident response


 3+ years of experience securing Web Applications and APIs

2+ of SDLC, Security Architecture and Threat Modeling

Deep understanding of web application security threats, exploits, prevention (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, platform hardening, etc

Deep knowledge of crypto, authentication and authorization protocols and standards, including SSL/TLS, SAML, OAuth, JWT Token

Experience in Cloud and Container security

Software development proficiency (.Net, Python, Java, C#, or Obj-C/Swift)

API Security, Container Security, good expertise on Web technologies and Oauth 2.0


Software engineering or development experiences

Experiences with DevOps (CI/CD)

Secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) experience

Product architecture and development background

Understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts

Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts among project partners

Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge such as CSSLP or CISSP

 Experience and knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools

 Understanding of Agile software development practices
