Join FBM as our next Propulsion Engineer\!

In this role you will provide support to FBM Propulsion in the following areas\. Working with more experienced engineers, support production of FBM large rocket motors at the Lockheed Martin Subcontractor’s facility in Clearfield, Promontory or Magna, Utah\. Other duties include:

\- Support of Propulsion problem investigations as related to fleet and/or rocket motor production

\- Ability to work under only general direction

\- Independently determine and develop approach to solutions

\- Ability to work on a multi\-disciplined team, including customers and subcontractors

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- Understanding of mechanical and propulsion engineering principals, theories and concepts

\- Experience with mechanical CAD modeling and analysis tools, such as I\-DEAS, Pro\-E, Uni\-graphics, or AutoCAD

\- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; U\.S\. Citizenship is required

**Desired Skills:**

\- Understanding of rocket motor design and materials and missile/aerospace related education/exposure

\- Knowledge of GD&T

\- Fundamental understanding of structures and materials

\- Familiarity with Pro Engineer/Wildfire/Creo Elements

\- Risk management experience including familiarity with risk tools as well as the risks and opportunities database

\- Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with technical and non\-technical audiences
