- Work closely with Technical Lead for understanding the functional and technical design- Develops and configures Epic modules as per the technical design document (TDD) to meet the defined requirements- Conduct ongoing system build and configuration for assigned Epic module- Codes the more complicated automations or reusable components.- Develops new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand- Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures- Ensures documentation is well maintained- Ensures quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing- Works collaboratively with test teams during the Product test and UAT phases to fix assigned bugs with quality- Reports status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis- Improves skills in Epic products by completing Epic modules certification- Mentors junior developers and performs code reviews for quality controlThe Epic Senior Developer is responsible for process design and coding the Epic modules as per the technical documentation created by the technical leads/business analysts. The senior developer will also validate the code by performing appropriate unit testing and will ensure configuration control is maintained. The senior developer will be a mentor to junior developers and will perform quality control/code reviews on code components developed by them.For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.Please note: The safety and well-being of our people continues to be the top priority, and our decisions around travel are informed by government COVID-19 response directives, recommendations from leading health authorities and guidance from a number of infectious disease experts

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with C#, VBA, Python or other front end programming language- Minimum of 1 year of experience with running databases and executing queries with tools like SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc- Minimum of 1 year of application support- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience with Epic Software- Epic Certification- Healthcare Industry Experience- Experience with EMR applications

Professional Skill Requirements:

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
