Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service, is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position in the Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing.   Saint Louis University is one of the premier Catholic universities in the United States, carrying on the 450-year-old Jesuit tradition.   The Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing, an integral component of one of the largest Catholic health sciences centers in the world, has been in the forefront of nursing education since its founding in 1928. The School offers baccalaureate, masters and doctoral (DNP and Ph.D.) programs and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.   The School offers an infrastructure to support faculty research and practice and offers innovative curricula to effectively address current and future health care needs. Nominations and applications are invited for a non-tenure track appointment in the Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing. Position Summary: This faculty position is responsible for operations within the School of Nursing Clarke Laboratory and Simulation Center. This position provides technical support for all simulators, lab and clinical equipment; and includes preparation, maintenance and management of the repair of simulation and lab equipment, hardware and associated software. A passion for teaching nursing students as well as working with technology is essential. This position works within a team and in partnership with faculty to ensure that day to day operations and goals are achieved.   This 9 month Simulation Operations Manager requires: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing or related field required Experience in Simulation required Proficient in the use and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software General knowledge of AV systems and basic troubleshooting Strong interpersonal skills Strong technical skills Strong oral and written communication skills Licensure and eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
