In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost and risk, performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and completing production test activities for the EW Spectrum Convergence BLQ\-10 program\. Primarily this role integrates electronic warfare hardware and software systems for system production test, performs troubleshooting and analysis to determine the cause of failures, diligently executes test procedures utilizing production test tools and infrastructure while remaining acutely aware of system performance and behaviors\. Additionally, you may assist in performing supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems; analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal\. Lastly, the engineer will need to understand systems engineering development tasks such as functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies that translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications\.

Travel may be required\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related master’s degree\. Considered experienced, but still a learner\.

• Sensor System test experience

• Familiarity with Linux OS and Microsoft Office tools

• Experience operating complex RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc\.

• Experience conducting structured test cases and documenting findings and results in accordance with established development and configuration management processes\.

• Willing and able to support working extended shifts and travel \(as required\) to meet mission objectives

• Experience working with Navy customers

• Experience working with Navy and Government witnesses during test conduction

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance to at least the Secret level\.

**Desired Skills:**

• Experience with EW and RADAR Signal Processing Techniques

• Experience with Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB

• Familiarity with Radar or EW Systems or EW system operation

• Model Based System Design

• Test Automation Tools and Practices

• Experience with Configuration and Data Management \(CDM\) of Hardware and Software

• Working knowledge of industry standard Electro Static Discharge \(ESD\) practices
