AT&T Cybersecurity is seeking a User Experience Designer to join our multidisciplinary UX team to craft digital experiences for security software customers. We want someone who's focused on the front-end of the UX process: gathering requirements and turning those into wireframes.

We deliver simple and elegant digital experiences to a broad spectrum of our customers.  The UX designer will work closely with Designers, Researchers, and Product Managers to deliver these solutions.


  • Apply design thinking to the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Translate business goals and requirements into effective digital experiences that help customers.
  • Create UX documentation (flows, scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, user interaction specifications) to communicate concepts and designs to the team.
  • Define requirements for UI designers.
  • Propose and participate in user research, usability validation, and A/B testing.
  • Work closely with other team members, including designers, product managers, content strategists, and development teams, to bring your designs to life.
  • Take ownership of your projects as a whole, following them through to launch and relentlessly look for the best way to solve business problems and improve the customer experience.


Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role working with applications or software products. Digital agency experience or experience with a SaaS product company preferred.

  • Desire to help peer designers and self-sufficient.
  • Familiar with basic UX Research methodologies.
  • Strong portfolio with recent work examples from your professional experience -wireframes, prototypes, specification documents, and/or process flows. 
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
  • Ability to take product specs (work closely with Product Managers) and provide creative solutions ready for user testing with fast turnaround time. 
  • Strong experience with Sketch, InVision, and Design System Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather feedback from peers and stakeholders and incorporate to improve the final product.
  • Experience following brand standards and UX patterns.
  • Ability to design multiple form factors.

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in the IT & Security Industry.
  • Familiar with HTML/CSS to communicate front-end development.
  • Experience designing dashboards or analytics that present large amounts of information in a simple and digestible manner.
