Production Technician needed for Fernley Manufacturing Facility! Next Orientation – Start Date 6/29

Day Shift: $17/hr 

Night Shift: $19/hr 

Available shifts are:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 2/2/3
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 2/2/3
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Friday – Sunday
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Friday – Sunday

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment and perform duties in a manner that promotes safety for the position and all employees on shift.
  • Production environment offloading composite decking boards. Stacking boards and banding them getting ready for shipment out to vendors to sell.
  • Requires knowledge of all lockout/tag out procedures for equipment used in all areas of production which include but are not limited to raw material processing, extrusion line operation, packaging/bundle cover.
  • Expectation to gain extensive functional and operational knowledge of all equipment operation required of a process technician. 

Physical Demands:

  1. Must be able to lift 50lbs
  2. Must be able to work from heights
  3. Must be able to stand for extended periods
  4. Must be able to climb ladders

Work Environment: This job takes place in and around a manufacturing facility.  The technician can be exposed to a wide variety of environmental situations, including temperatures ranging from below zero to above 120 degrees (Fahrenheit).  Technician can expect to work on a wide spread of work area, indoors and outdoors, including surfaces of low traction (snow, ice, wet, etc. Work may occasionally take place in confined spaces, and employee will be expected to wear the appropriate PPE tasked.
