Conceptualize, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. You will be the key technical focal point across Honeywell Buildings Technologies (Commercial Security) engineering teams creating solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will influence hardware design directions and methodology developments. As a hardware engineering technical expert, you will leverage advanced tools and simulation techniques to deliver high impact business results while acting as a technical leader and coach for other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead specification reviews and development

  • Be able to Architect and Design IoT based solutions across the stack that involves Hardware to Cloud experience preferably.
  • Lead engineering cross functional teams as the technical authority
  • Lead customer discussions on critical product and/ or process design
  • Mentor and coach junior level engineers
  • Develop and improve work practices
  • Review process and product quality
  • Project management
  • Design of large Embedded solutions



  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics or Computer Science
  • 13+ years of hands-on experience in Architecting Embedded applications and end to end product development experience.
  • 7+ years of experience handling large Embedded programs and application Development & Deployment as an Engineering owner and involved in integration of multiple sub-systems.
  • 7+ years of experience understanding of the IoT market, players, their offerings and trade-offs.
  • 7+ years of experience generating System Requirements from the stakeholder’s requirements.
  • 7+ years of experience converting System Requirements to Architecture/Design.
  • 7+ years of experience working in a global product development environment, developing and deploying products and solutions to customers.
  • 7+ years of experience as a technical leader with an ability to quickly adapt to latest technology trends.
  • 7+ years of experience /exposure with Automation and unit testing frameworks, eco systems for Development & Operations (DevOps) frameworks.
  • 7+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
  • 7+ years of experience/exposure in electronics (Signal conditioner design, low power supply, Embedded systems and digital circuit design, Various communication circuits like CAN, I2C, USB, Design protection and noise reducing circuits (EMI / EMC / ESD compliance)) and sensing technologies.
  • 7+ years of exposure/ knowledge of sensors and application of sensors, transfer function modeling of sensor and signal conditioning circuit, instrumentation & interface circuit design.
  • 7+ years of exposure/ fundamental knowledge in electrical, analog, digital and power electronics and Embedded engineering.
  • 7+ years of experienced in programming and debugging embedded firmware, sensor fusion algorithms, lab instrument and data acquisition system automation using LabVIEW/NI Test Stand and Python.
  • 7+ years of exposure Good knowledge about different serial communication protocols like such as – CAN/ USB/ SPI / 1-Wire / I2C /RS-232 /RS422 / RS485/ SENT and PWM outputs.
  • 7+ years of experience designing circuits with 8-, 16- & 32-bit micro-controller interfacing and Analog to Digital data conversion, designing with opamps, transistors, MOSFET, linear and switching regulators
