That’s a big deal and it requires a team of proven performers to oversee our many installations.

Responsibilities:

The Sunrun team is in need of a Removal/Re-Install Crew Foreman who will become a strong contributor and make a difference.  In the Removal/Re-Install Crew Foreman role, you will oversee the daily functioning of the removal/re-install crew which is responsible for removing, re-installing, maintaining and troubleshooting components of our residential solar projects.

 

Key Job Duties:

  • Provide leadership for those reporting to you by clearly communicating the mission, goals, and values of Sunrun
  • Lead a three-man crew in removal or re-installation of residential solar systems
  • Provide oversight relating to all required documentation relating to the removal or installation of the solar array
  • Ensure all work performed by the Installation Crew is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Provide coaching, technical training and performance reviews to those that report to you
  • Troubleshoot technical issues for your crew and provide assistance to other crews as necessary
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Sunrun standards
  • Ensure the truck is equipped with inventory needed as well ensure the vehicle is in a proper condition
  • Occasional work in the warehouse organizing equipment
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience leading a construction crew
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting and repair
  • Working knowledge of solar installation, construction and/or roofing
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and lead a construction crew
  • Ability to work well with others that are on your team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Above average computer skills
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude
  • Ability to be comfortable being and working on roofs

 

Bonus Points:

  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in solar leadership
