Northrop Grumman's S3 Operating Unit is looking for a Manager, Project Management Level 1 to support two programs. This position will be responsible for the support of the programs in conjunction with the program manager.
The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will support a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.

The successful candidate with support the program manager across all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). Key attributes to success include the ability to (1) proactively identify and address issues, (2) take ownership and drive actions to closure, and (3) collect, organize, and communicate information in a timely and collaborative manner. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Roles & Responsibilities:
Cultivate internal relationships collect, distribute, track functional inputs for completion of Program Status Reviews: Update status of action items and Develop PMR PowerPoint slide deck. Additionally develop working relationships with manufacturing and Supply Chain.
  • Manage Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)
  • Customer interaction
    • Communicate with the government representatives - CO, COR, COTR, PM, etc.
    • Document government communications and actions
  • PMO Interaction
    • Develop working relationship with functional support
    • Develop understanding of functional support roles and responsibilities
  • Team interaction
    • Perform customer site visits
    • Communicate with team performers
    • Document team communications
  • Staffing Report
    • Coordinate with the staffing manager
    • Update program staffing report
    • Deliver staffing report to customer
  • Financial Report
    • Coordinate with business management
    • Ensure delivery to customer
  • Other Support
    • Business Development
    • Contract Actions
    • EAC
    • Staffing

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years, or Master's and 3 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries
  • 3 years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Must have a TS SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cost reduction and/or affordability initiatives
  • Experience managing NCTA activities
