**In this role, you will:**

\- Support loading and consumption of various data types into one or more systems\.

\- Write, edit and test parsers for application data format changes\.

\- Perform data quality control\.

\- Perform configuration management on all parser code\.

\- Load data into production applications\.

\- Track and provide reports, statistics and metrics\.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.

This position is contingent upon program award expected Summer 2021\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing data feeds or ingestion functions in lieu of degree\.

\- 3\+ years of experience in data processing and/or text parsing methods to include using at least one common programming language\.

\- Knowledge of Hex editors\.

\- Knowledge of file compression technologies\.

\- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance\.

**Desired Skills:**

\- Experience working within various Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, iOS, etc\.

\- Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, SQL, etc\.

\- Experience with Apache NiFi\.

\- Up to date knowledge of COTS, GOTS, and Open Source feeds technologies and experience implementing data ingestion process improvements\.

\- Experience with any of the following software, concepts, and tools:

\- SQL\-lite

\- ElasticSearch

\- Mongo DB

\- HIVE repositories

\- JIRA ticketing

\- Project Management and tracking tools

\- TAR, JAR, TARBELL QZIP file formats

\- SPLUNK

\- Parsing concepts and schema formats

\- Data compression and AVRO schema

\- Various TCP files transport technologies

\- C2S instance and Amazon computing services
