Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis, MD.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.

  • Systems engineers on this program will be responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Duties may include:

  • Performs systems requirements analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.

  • Supports multi-year planning and architecture development for the client

  • Evaluates alternative engineering designs including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.

  • Maintains a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology, develops and maintains a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements

  • Applies the project management model (e.g. SAFE Agile) selected for a given development effort and leads hybrid project teams to accomplish defined objective

  • Provides analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications.

  • Ensures systems comply with the enterprise technical architecture

  • Assists project and program teams in preparation for CIO Project Management Program control gates; and keeps senior management apprised of project or program status.

  • Assignments may include leading teams consisting of contractor personnel across a variety of technical specialties to establish and achieve objectives aligned with the client’s mission intent.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph

  • Requires a B.S. and 0-2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • INCOSE certifications (Systems Engineering Professional)

  • Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

  • AWS Essentials

  • AWS Cloud Experience

  • Azure Fundamentals

  • COMPTIA Certs (A+, N+, Sec+)

  • Experience with MS Powershell I & II 2016; MS Sharepoint Server 2007; MS Windows Server 2008; MS Exchange Enterprise; IBM Lotus Notes/Domino; SQL; VDI; Enterprise Sharepoint; Sharepoint; Splunk; Tableau; JIRA; ElasticSearch; Primavera; Git; MS Access; Selenium


Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with a polygraph


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility.
