As part of the Advanced Analytics team supporting a strategic growth initiative for NCR, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud solutions in Azure to provide exceptional and insightful customer experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing API-centric, cloud native solutions in collaboration with Product and SW teams to fulfill internal and external customer requirements. Implemented solutions will enable business analysts and data scientists with data necessary to develop and deploy visualizations and machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full stack end-to-end solution development
  • Develop and implement big data solutions with Azure technologies to support requirements from visualization teams and data scientists
  • Develop technical solutions to solve business problems and implement using agile architecture principles
  • Define technology requirements, coding standards and work with development teams to implement solutions
  • Work in a fast-paced agile development environment to quickly analyze, develop, and test new applications for the business
  • Communicate effectively to appropriate levels of the organization to provide transparency and accountability for initiatives and their progress
  • Support an open, learning, and progressive environment to allow the team's exploration of new solutions
  • Ensure developed applications meet all requirements of quality, security, scalability, etc.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend updates and integrate into planned solution set

Basic Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science with at least 15 years' experience in full stack development and understanding of cloud native architecture
  • 8 years of experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, ADLS, Spark etc.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with SQL, SQL Server and Azure tools such as ADLS, SQL Server (hyperscale), Databricks, EventHub or ioT hub is required.
  • Experience with databases, data storage, data flows, and data transformations is required
  • 5 years' experience with streaming technologies Kafka, Spark structured streaming is minimum
  • Server/serverless database technologies (Azure Data explorer, Azure SQL and Kusto queries) experience is required
  • 1-3 years of experience in Azure tools such as Power BI and Power Apps, Analysis Services, Cognitive Services is required
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in Agile SW development is required.
  • 2+ years' experience leading/managing software projects is required
  • Experience with Kubernetes or AKS and Microservices is required
  • Experience with ETL technologies like Azure Data Factory is expected
  • Must be capable of handling multiple projects and deliverables
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with multiple levels of management
