Job Description
• Fully accountable leader across the Northwest-Mountain Individual Medicare Advantage P&L, charged with driving sales and customer experience strategies, managing local market performance, delivering growth, and managing costs in alignment with strategy and overall plan goals
• Responsible for achieving target market position, overall financial performance of the Individual Medicare Advantage plans within the market, and local execution of STARs, compliance, and revenue yield in collaboration with corporate teams
• Drives local product strategy, local market intelligence development, and local cost structure strategy in collaboration with corporate Medicare leadership, Market President, and related teams
• Reports directly to the Northwest-Mountain Market President and is a key part of the market leadership executive team
• Responsible for the Northwest States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska and the Mountain States of Nevada, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming


Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years of solid Medicare Advantage experience and ten years of relevant experience in roles of increasing responsibility in the healthcare industry and/or insurance
• P&L accountability experience and strong financial, bottom-line focus
• Previous Medicare Advantage sales and business development experience
• Strong facilitative leadership and business problem solving skills
• Experience of being highly successful while working in a matrixed environment
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory and contractual requirements
• Ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce and cross functional groups
• Ability to deal effectively with multiple internal and external clients
• Licensure as required

Preferred Qualifications
• Deep knowledge of local markets in the States of WA, OR, NV, UT, ID
• Previous experience working for a large, national carrier
• Previous experience with Dual Special Needs Plans

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
