Join our shipping & receiving team and use your knowledge to ensure you properly receive incoming material; maintain accurate accountability of receiving, additions and deletions for materials from the record. Prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads efforts to sustain area’s performance metrics in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory through continuous improvement.
• Continuously promotes, coaches, participates and leads in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Ensures all HSE and HOS systems are continuously sustained and improved, such as:
o 5S Tiered Accountability Meetings
o Standardized Work (Creating and Updating SOS)
o Leadership Standardized Work
o  Rapid Problem Solving (RPS)
o Built in Quality (BIQ)
o Ensure safety policies and procedures are being adhered to.
• Employee Development:
o Works with Shift Supervisor to coordinate on-the-job training based upon departmental cross training needs.
o Helps employees meet their developmental plans, in all aspects of their job requirements and expectations.
o Ensures training systems are effective and in compliance with expected documentation.
• Leads daily Tier 1 meetings Fill in at Tier 4 for Shift Supervisor as needed. Along with other meetings when necessary.
• Prepare and oversee accurate reports in both manual and electronic formats.
• Moderate physical effort and mental-visual concentration on a regular basis.
• Lift a minimum of 60 pounds.

• Operate PIT within the warehouse as needed
• Usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Safety Glasses and Steel Toed Shoes.
• Mandatory overtime hours as needed. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Please Note: This is a 2nd shift role



•  High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience working in a distribution environment.


• SAP experience preferred.
• Six Sigma/Lean principles preferred.
• Ability to stand approximately 90% in performance of duties.
• Previous experience in a leadership role.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and database entry.
