Job Description

- The Strategy & Operations associate jointly designs cross-functional solutions to address strategic business problems enabling the Analytics & Behavior Change organization to deliver new, innovative solutions for enterprise clients across Aetna and Caremark.

- The associate is an integral member of the Strategy & Operations team and will be tasked to develop initiatives to ensure that our enterprise clients incorporate new assets and capabilities enabling them to remain competitive in the marketplace and effectively serve its customers.
- Assists in the development of strategic business, financial, and operational plans
- Evaluate new transformative capabilities based on emerging trends in the marketplace to activate and scale high potential and impact opportunities
- Conducts market assessments and research associated with current and future state business functionality
- Develops and maintains executive level communications to assist in and secure buy-in for leadership level decision making
- Assists in the development of issues relative to organization's strategic direction
- Participate in development of consistent, efficient and cost-effective processes implementation
- Participate in special projects that impact the entire organization
- Interacts with and develops close working partnerships with internal enterprise stakeholders, external vendors, strategic partners as required in the development of initiatives and relevant execution plans

Required Qualifications
- Assists in the development of strategic business, financial, and operational plans

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred (payer, PBM, provider, or management consulting environment) with exposure to strategic planning, financial analysis, and project management.
- Exposure to and understanding of business strategies and analytics-driven business solutions required
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required
- Demonstrated relationship management skills at peer level
- Willingness to ask questions, flexible style, and project approach as strategy and priorities shift.

Education
- Master’s degree preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree required
