Location is flexible. Need is in the Midwestern United States, but the team is augmenting in all regions.

The Regional BDM will be responsible for successfully selling products and solutions for the upfitting of commercial vehicles. The BDM will Identify specific sales penetration opportunities of Masterack Programs and Services to existing clients in a defined geographic territory. Management of clients within assigned territory to effectively exceed their expectations and maintain current use of enrolled programs and services. Focusing on the needs of the fleet and retail customers, as well as the end-user drivers, the successful BDM will also generate leads resulting in closing new business opportunitieswhile continually demonstrating the value of Masterack’s services and products.


• Prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and meet minimum activity requirements.

• Financially analyze value of potential deals, and understand financial statements and balance sheets.

• Manage territory and prospect requirements.

• Work complex sales and bring to a successful close/win.

• Use SalesForce.com to manage and keep accurate records of activities, prospect desires, fleet solutions, retail potential, stakeholder analysis and discovery documentation.

• Utilize "war room" strategies to vet and create strategic approaches to win key national or regional prospects, by utilizing consultative and solutions oriented selling processes.

• Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.


• Turn viable prospects into new customers.

• Identify and profile all key prospects within the given territory.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


• Self-starter and able to work autonomously.

• Excellent listening, time management, communication (verbal, written) and problem solving skills.

• Able to direct meetings and make public presentations before small and large groups.


This position’s leadership responsibilities involve managing politics and influencing others, enhancing business skills and knowledge, understanding and navigating the commercial vehicle industry, managing change, and managing the work.


Must be willing to travel a minimum of 40% of the time.


• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline (or equivalent experience), MBA preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years outside sales in the automotive or manufacturing industries, with Top-Producer status in the most recent years.

• General understanding of finance, balance-sheets and ability to understand and negotiate complex contracts.
