Position Category: Faculty General Description: Niagara County Community College has a need for a part-time instructor to teach courses in Human Services including Chemical Dependency Counseling, Disability Studies, and Early Childhood Studies. These classes are typically three lecture hours per week during days and/or evenings. Classes are held on the NCCC's main campus in Sanborn, NY, or may be offered online. Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus even if teaching online. Remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $797 per lecture hour/$714 per lab hour. Remuneration for those teaching less than 3 credits in a semester: $675 per lecture hour/$600 per lab hour. In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, Niagara County Community College will accept applications on a continuous basis. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare, and present information. Must be able to operate computers and must adjust any teaching to the Americans with Disabilities Act provisions.
