This is a unique position for a DBA to work on marketing analytics projects and facilitate the maintenance, deployment and management of internal SQL Server Databases, Cloud Databases and deployment of other software utilized by Marketing. The DBA will report into the Director of Marketing Analytics and will also have interaction across the marketing organization. The DBA will develop and maintain processes to move data from source systems into data marts, and ultimately data visualization/analytics platforms. Meets with stakeholders and gather business end user requirements to define and develop technical specifications and processes for design, coding, and testing. Troubleshoots and resolves issues in supported applications. Job Responsibilities: Manage SQL Server databases and Cloud database Administration. Programming ETL / Data Pipelines and the Creation of Data Marts. Candidate will design, test and deploy, database changes, stored procedures, SSIS packages and other data migration processes. Monitor system's health and performance and ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Provide database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems. Create new applications, develop enhancements, and fix bugs in existing applications to meet business requirements, application development standards and support requirements. Organize data and implement analytic data marts and business intelligence views for performance monitoring, measurement, evaluation vs. forecasts, and financial measures. Recommend and design ongoing improvements to process to improve program performance measurement. Install new software or upgrade existing software for various tools or systems utilized by Marketing. This assumes the ability for the associate to work with vendors or conduct research to determine best methods of deploying a given solution. The DBA will be the primary contact and manage relationships with IT and Vendors for the ownership and maintenance of critical marketing infrastructure. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines. 4+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role. Strong experience with SQL and database management systems (building and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). Knowledge of at least one other programming language (PHP, Python, C#, VBA, Java etc.). Strong communication and presentation skills Excellent problem solving and Excel-based modeling skills. Preferred Masters/MBA Experience with Snowflake Experience with Python Experience with Tableau / Qlik /Power BI Experience with PHP and VBA.
