The Perduco Group/LinQuest Corporation is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our team in Reston, VA. The selected individual will serve on an analysis team of operations research analysts, operational military subject matter experts, and threat subject matter experts. The analysis team is responsible for developing new analytic processes to leverage emerging modeling and simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct studies for senior-level military decision makers, technology developers, and acquisition professionals for use in concept of operations development, force structure design, resource allocation, and targeted technology insertion.
  • Collect, categorize, maintain, and analyze data using a range of quantitative techniques.
  • Perform analysis to address specific questions, problem statements, or objectives.
  • Apply operations research and statistical techniques across a range of military functions.
  • Define problems, identify performance measures, and perform gap and root cause analysis.
Required Skills:

  • Development of models and simulations - proficiency with AFSIM, ITASE, NGTS, or other mission/campaign simulation environments
  • Scripting language programming
  • Application of operations research techniques
  • Design of experiments
  • Ability to think creatively and function as part of a high-performance team
Preferred Skills:

  • Database query languages
  • Ability to coordinate with government managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify objectives
  • Understanding of military operations, planning, and analysis approaches
Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance to be considered
Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in operations research or other quantitative discipline.
