Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.




  1. Support the Navy Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in continuing development of the Enterprise Network Guard (ENG) rule sets to gain acceptance of use across DoD networks for all services.
  2. Provide technical support as assigned for the design, development, analysis, and software support in support of IT systems for Mission Deployed Systems utilizing Cross Domain Solutions.
  3. Support testing of ENG in accordance with Unified Cross Domain Solution Management Organization (UCDSMO) CDS certification testing and evaluation to gain formal assessment/authorization for the integration of additional datalink and audio capabilities into the Joint Training Environment.
  4. Integrate cyber security policy rulesets into the ENG baseline and conduct independent verification and validation.
  5. Implement additional secure management capabilities into the ENG software baseline.

Work is completed in a climate-controlled facility/office.


Should be able to lift 40 pounds.



Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.


Degree in related field desired

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret Clearance




10 years or more of experience




Desired knowledge, skills and experience in any of the following:


  • Homeland Defense Operations and C4ISR systems networks
  • Military tactical data links, encryption equipment, and radio communication devices
  • Advanced surveillance and security systems for fixed and mobile facilities including DOD information assurance requirements.
  • Experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
  • Modeling and simulation.
