**Description:** Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business area is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, FL\. We are seeking a CNC Machine Mechanic to join our team\. From ultra\-precision machining and additive manufacturing to the development and production of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control \(MFC\) utilizes the latest capabilities in manufacturing to produce some of the world's Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business area is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, FL\. We are seeking a CNC Machine Mechanic to join our team\. From ultra\-precision machining and additive manufacturing to the development and production of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control \(MFC\) utilizes the latest capabilities in manufacturing to produce some of the world's to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast\. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest\.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees and management\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional day\(s\) away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\. Employee will be required to work multiple shifts and schedules per the UAW Collective Bargaining Agreement\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

High School Diploma or equivalent \(GED\)\. Ability to maintain and repair a variety of precision CNC multipurpose electronic control systems for industrial equipment\. Must be able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, performance specifications, and machine operating manuals to become familiar with the design and operating requirements of multi\-purpose electronic and or electro\-mechanical control systems\. Able to troubleshoot and determine cause, then make necessary repairs as required\. Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift when required in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW\.

**Desired Skills:**

5 years of related experience\. 2 year Technical degree or equivalent in related discipline\. Prior experience with machine repair such as: determining causes of malfunctions, replacing faulty parts, installing electronic and/or electro\-mechanical equipment, testing control circuits and components, setting up a variety of highly sensitive, precision electronic test tools and equipment, modifying and updating existing electronic and/or electromechanical control systems or combination of systems to include new functions and latest designs, repairing multi\-axis machines\. Experience with Mazak mills and lathes, Mitsui Seiki mills, Hass milling machines\. Experience with Tecport coating chamber, Hoffman polisher, computer controls such as Mitsubishi, Fanuc\.
