  • Twelve week commitments
  • Earn $10,000 - $15,000 PRN Bonus for fulfilling work commitment (bonus paid in two increments)

What you will do in this role:
 

The Registered Nurse coordinates nursing care for the patient and participates in patient / family education. Works collaboratively with ancillary staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

 

  • Participates in performance improvement activities to improve patient safety and quality of care.
  • Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers.
  • Promotes a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment.
  • Fulfills departmental responsibilities consistent with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing is required.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners as an RN
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course and Certification
  • One (1) year of Emergency Room or Critical Care experience is required in a hospital setting
  • Current Emergency Pediatric course (ENPC) certification
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience, including trauma experience
  • Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners
