Reporting to PMT APAC Sr. HR Director, the Business Human Resources Director APAC will be HR focal point for Honeywell Process Solution business in APAC and directly responsible for providing HR support to HPS PAS & LSS business leaders in APAC
The position holder needs to lead the effort in driving synergy among HPS LOBs and key HR initiatives in APAC, including but not limited to talent development and localization, OEF management, etc.  He/she needs to have the capability to influence senior leaders in the client groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement global HR strategy, processes and programs in the region
  • Lead large-scale HR initiatives across the broader organization, partnering across boundaries to achieve deliverables and meet program milestones for businesses it supports
  • Drive org design, workforce planning strategy, compensation, and talent solutions to address business needs, including but not limited to:
  1. Lead effective succession planning and talent development plan for the client groups
  2. Support M&A activities
  3. Change management
  4. Leadership effectiveness
  5. Organization assessment and optimization
  • Act as HRG for business leaders of the client groups
  • Provide HR functional support and act as owner of request from the respective business leader
  • Counsels leaders on options of decision-making regarding impact on employees. Coaches leadership on how to leverage talent and teams across the organization.
  • Recruits and selects talent for all disciplines and HON fit at senior levels
  • Keep legal compliance


  • HR degree minimum (Master's/MBA/MBL preferred) with a concentration in the areas of business, labor relations, organizational development and strategic HR disciplines. >10 years relevant work experience
  • Proven progressive professional HR experience, including previous leadership and management roles
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across different countries and build relationships with internal and external customers from different cultural backgrounds.
  • A strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a highly matrixed organizational environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to positively influence others and an ability to develop good relationships with Directors and other leadership team members.
  • Ability to deal forcefully, tactfully and confidently with internal and external clients across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Pro-actively set up strategies with solid knowledge of, and experience in, APAC employment laws and regulations.


  • Self-motivation and strong interpersonal/communication/influential skills with an emphasis on relationship / team / partnership building to complete the profile.
  • As the position offers excellent opportunities for further promotion, occasional international travel will form part of the role.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to promote and develop trust with all levels of employees
  • Decisive and assertive with the ability to be provide flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment
  • English fluency as a must and minimum one additional regional language.
