We are looking for a Manager of Test Automation to join our Engineering Enablement team. We deliver the tools and systems that scale the effectiveness of engineering so that developers can spend more time doing what they do best: provide product features to our end users to unleash our collective potential to transform healthcare. Job Responsibilities
  • Develop software-based, automated solutions to core business processes
  • Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of developers
  • Drive tri-annual release planning for teams within span of control; Contribute to the annual strategic planning process
  • Maintain working knowledge of the product line in terms of usage, business value, road map, and userperspective for their area of assignment.
  • Provide managerial oversight of delivery of scrum team(s). Facilitate sprint ceremonies, drive sprint planning.
  • Sets and monitors performance goals & objectives, including providing feedback through performanceappraisals and day-to-day discussions
  • Eliminate barriers to productivity; determine strategies and tactics to help direct reports avoid distractionsduring sprints
  • Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the "why" behinddecisions.
  • Ensures delivery of quality releases through management of direct reports; assist in troubleshooting issues, responding to users queries, conduct code reviews asneeded.
  • Participate in MTS/SMTS interview process and review candidate selection for other teams as needed

Typical Qualifications
  • 9 - 12 years of overall experience with experience of leading teams in a technical environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Track record of developing employees both technically and professionally
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment preferred
  • Hands on coding experience preferred.
  • Software engineering skills and computer science experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as: Perl, Java, AngularJS and experience in Amazon web services (AWS) Cloud preferred
  • Exposure toobject orientedprogramming, relational database technologies, distributed computing tech.
