As part of this growth, we are searching for a dynamic and innovative new member to join our team in Selbyville, DE as a Cone Debone Manager - 2nd Shift. The primary purpose of the Cone Debone Manager - 2nd Shift is to provide ensure processing procedures are followed while achieving the highest level of productivity in a cost-efficient manner. Cone Debone Managers must assure that lines are ready for start-up and understand the plant yield goals associated with Mountaire Farms benchmarks.

Position responsibilities include:
  • Manage processes and employees of Cone Debone, Breast Trim/Packout, Party Wings, and Tenders departments
  • Ensure compliance with company regulations, policies and practices including GMP's and USDA standards
  • Maximize yields, throughput efficiencies, and cost effectiveness
  • Ensure all customer quality and delivery standards are met or exceeded
  • Manage effective relations with USDA
  • Recruit, coach, lead and develop Superintendents, Supervisors and production employees
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for promotion
  • Create and promote culture of safety within department

Qualifications:
  • Five years (5+) plus debone and management level experience
  • Strong leadership and demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to provide an environment dedicated to personal and corporate growth
  • B.S. Degree in related field preferred, but not required
