The MRP Master Scheduling Controller professional understands and applies material management principles that enable them to develop solutions to a variety of problems. This person manages simulations, loading demand, overseeing factory Demand / Supply in support of achieving MRP schedules that support customer requirements. This person also is responsible for analyzing material availability in support of contract requirements, communicate factory priorities, identifying barriers and solutions to enable the factory to meet takt rate, and takes appropriate action to ensure program goals are achieved.

The successful candidate must be able to coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate program material status and identified risks.

The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate within an IPT environment, strong SAP troubleshooting skills, extensive understanding of Material Requirements Planning in a manufacturing environment, looks for innovative solutions and proven team leadership skills.

This individual will be accountable for: Inventory accuracy; Supply Health Metrics; Work with Stakeholders & Peers to develop and implement release strategy; and Mitigate Supply Risk. This individual will also be expected to promote keys values, facilitate problem resolution.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of Material Planning in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook/Skype
  • Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
  • Must be well organized, problem solver and innovative thinker
  • Must be able to attain Security Clearance if needed
  • Strong knowledge of and troubleshooting experience in Material Requirement Planning and SAP
  • An understanding of the application and concepts of Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory
  • Management, Supply & Demand, Logistics, Procurement, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing
  • U.S. Citizenship is required as the position will require the ability to access US only data systems
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen as the position will require ability to attain a Secret Security Clearance within the year 1 of employment start date

Desired Skills:

  • 2+ years of SAP experience
