The position will be responsible for Sales and Business Development of Lifesciences Business of Honeywell Advanced Materials in India sub-continent (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal).
The job is expected to identify opportunities, develop & execute Strategies and drive sustainable growth improving market share for the Aclar® film and related product range offered by Advanced Materials Business which find applications primarily in packaging of drug molecules in the Pharma industry.
The responsibilities include-
Sales ownership of the Multi-Million $ Business including Identify, evaluate, and prioritize all opportunities within the region for Aclar® Product range to Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual Revenue and Profit targets
Key Account Management of Aclar® Laminate Convertor partner companies
Key Account Management of key top Pharma companies
Drive demand generation and sales by-
Researching and developing lists of potential customers
Following up on sales leads and developing leads
Establishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
Tracking customer and market data using corporate sales tools. (Including but not limited to Sales Force Dot Com)
Keep track of new products, applications, promotion activities etc.
Maintaining awareness of activities, industry trends & government regulations
Making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads
h. Acting to close deals & finalize contracts on behalf of Honeywell, India
Develop and implement Strategies to grow the business for Aclar®
Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and communicate to the wider organization.
Participate in the industry events / trade shows and organize meetings with key decision makers of customers.
Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers
Drive day to day sales activities like customer relationships/ interaction, products to be introduced/ sold, pricing, payment terms etc. To support on the day to day Technical queries of customers and products to be introduced.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Postgraduate/Graduate Degree in Chemistry/Plastics/Packaging/Engineering from a recognized Institute with 8-10 years of experience in Sales and Business Development, preferably worked or has relationship/ dealing with Pharma companies for packaging applications.                                                                                                                                             
    Management Degree from Good recognized institute will be added advantage.
  •  Knowledge of the Pharma markets and experience of selling into the target industry strongly preferred including Product Knowledge of : Pharma Primary Packaging (of oral solid dose, oral liquids, and sterile injectables; blister packaging (Both Thermoforming & Cold Forming), rigid, and flexible packaging)

    Demonstrated ability in problem solving, and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale and “value-performance selling”.
     Proficiency in strategic account management with ability to position specialty products in key programs and applications.
     Experience managing large territories and Channel management.
    Ability to balance tactical and strategic initiatives
    Strong quantitative and analytical ability
    Self-starter with strong entrepreneurial approach, self-motivation and ability to work independently
    Willing to travel extensively
