The Office of the Chief Technology Office (CTO) is taking the lead in the transformation of Wells Fargo Technology. This includes leading and managing the private and public cloud, Agile implementation, engineering, architecture, along with all of the tools, products and training that will enable team members to achieve our transformation. The CTO Agile Transformation team office is responsible for leading overall strategy, planning, scoping, analysis, process redesign, and execution of the Wells Fargo Technology Agile strategy. This office will interact and partner with senior WFT leaders and utilize strong influencing, relationship and leadership skills, coupled with thought leadership to drive strategic Agile Transformation in support of transformational goals and business metrics.

The Head of SDLC Processes is responsible for Wells Fargo's definition, execution, strategy operation, tooling, and compliance/adherence to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) polices, procedures, and control points. Working across the organization to ensure the accounting of risk, compliance, financial, control, audit interdependencies and mandates. Developing and executing a strategy for automation, productivity, and efficiency opportunities. Having the understanding and ability to evolve and accommodate our move to an Agile and Product / Customer centricity. Working in support of other Technology Lifecycle Processes helping them to meet a strategy for automation, productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and manage staff, with responsibilities including hiring, coaching, professional development, and performance management
Develop strategies to improve SDLC policies, procedures, and control points
Manage Finances related to resources and tools, with responsibilities for annual forecasting and budgeting
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with a strong dedication to success
Responsible for developing and implementing processes improvements
Responsible for establishing and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and overall performance
Establish and maintain design guides, playbooks, etc.
Establish standards, processes, and best practices for Team development
Manage and reduce risk, including Preventive and Corrective actions, security plans, etc.
Provide Change Control / Record support
Collaborate within and across agile teams and organizations to design, test, implement, and support solutions and methodologies
Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met
Manage 7-10 directs with a geographically dispersed resource base of 20-40 full-time team members, contingent staff, and select vendor partnerships; including US and Offshore
Design, together with the Head Agile Transformation strategy and roadmaps, including automation priorities, and recommend innovations that align with that near- and long-term vision, enterprise priorities, and industry trends
Build and maintain strong relationships across the CTO group and key functional areas within Technology
Support other Technology Lifecycle Processes helping them to meet a strategy for automation, productivity and efficiency.
Compile and prepare executive summaries, whitepapers, and presentations for management or senior leaders
Translate complex technical concepts so that they are clearly understood by all audiences in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
Assess current staff capabilities, identify talent gaps, and execute talent management actions aligned with human capital strategy
Serve as a role model demonstrating commitment to diversity and inclusion, and Wells Fargo's culture and core values

Required Qualifications

7+ years of technology engineering experience
6+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment
5+ years of experience with strategic planning in technology
7+ years of information technology experience
5+ years of strategic planning and development experience
5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
3+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
6 + years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs across an enterprise

Desired Qualifications

Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security
Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Experience analyzing metrics and articulating data trends
Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience managing managers
A Master's degree or higher
Ability to deliver concise, time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams

Excellent communication (verbal and written) with ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership
Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
Demonstrated experience in coordinating across multiple teams and matrix management is critical
Ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization with Wells Fargo's size, scale, and complexity
Strong knowledge of technology with emphasis on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (AML)
