The Application Products Center of Excellence (APCoE) is responsible for programs, initiatives and efforts related to the product lifecycle, security/non-security patching and configuration management for all third party products aligned to the Application, Asset Class Owner (ACO). Our goals include developing and maintaining sustainable processes that align to the Corporate Policies and Control Standards. Related programs include, but are not limited to, the Configuration Management Program (CMP), Enterprise Technology Currency Practice (ETCP) and the Enterprise Patch Program (EPP).
The Software Engineer Sr, will be the team's lead developer. This person will be responsible for delegating work, building and designing reporting, metrics and visualizations that support, measure and identify improvement opportunities relevant to the APCoE business processes. The candidate will support and maintain the APCoE portfolio reporting system, produce quantifiable reporting solutions, develop solutions for forecasting, predictive modeling, KPIs, KRIs, OPIs, metrics, trending controls and other.
The position also requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to design quality solutions, in a fast paced environment, with limited requirements while working in an Agile environment. As well as, the ability to create strong, easy to read reporting visualizations, from the aggregate level to drill down data is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Corporate Policies and Control Standards
- Experience in reporting, metrics and reporting visualizations
- Strong background with SQL, Excel, Tableau and other BI reporting and analytical tools
- Data modeling, dimensional modeling and database design with SQL implementation
- Experience creating, supporting and maintaining a database and/or data-mart
- Experience creating operational databases and data models
- Experience using query tools, reporting tools, BI tools to create reports, metrics, dashboards, storyboards and other data visualizations.
- Ability to build, support and implement database solutions using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and query tools
