Hofstra University's School of Health Professions and Human Services, Department of Health Professions, is seeking applications for an anticipated full-time tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor beginning September 1, 2021 in the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program. The Hofstra University entry-level Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program joined the Department of Health Professions, which includes professional preparation programs in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Sport Science, Athletic Training, Exercise Science and Health Science. For more information about the program, please visit our website: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, teaching and maintaining curriculum in areas of expertise as determined by the Program Director, serve as academic advisor for students, engage in scholarly activity, e.g., contribute to scholarship through research, presentations and /or publications, grants, and mentorship of student research; maintain currency in the academic discipline through continuing study, research, and/or participation in professional activities, and positively contributing to committee service within the program, department, university, and the profession. Faculty report directly to the Occupational Therapy Program Director.
