Summary:

In this role, you will build and maintain our core platform as a full stack engineer, using best practices and knowledge of internal and external business operations to improve products or services. You will solve complex problems, and bring a new perspective to the usage of existing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of new features with automated tests.
  • Drive feature level architecture/design sessions.
  • Participate in product level architecture/design sessions.
  • Recommend actions to improve procedures and standards.
  • Identify and communicate technical trends and/or emerging technology.
  • Mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience developing software is required.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, advanced SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Oracle, GraphQL, Java 8 or above, and parallel processing preferred.
  • Experience with designing, building, and consuming microservices and RESTful web services preferred.
  • Experience with component architecture and other front end principles preferred.
  • Strong grasp of object oriented and functional programming concepts preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with evolving requirements and specifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders, UX designers, and QA preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills preferred.
