Join a team empowered with delivering
transformational process improvement and data management with a digital
Procurement focus. You will be responsible for deploying process improvements
and automation technology in a Vendor Master Data management scope. You will
work with data and perform analysis to create real and meaningful business
value. Working in a team environment to collectively support large and complex
strategic data initiatives, you will have the responsibility for ensuring
successful change management as processes are improved.
Key responsibilities:
Foster a culture of flexibility, responsiveness,
and innovation
Lead cross-functional projects using advanced
data/financial/statistical modeling or analysis techniques to discover insights,
guide strategic decisions, and uncover optimization opportunities
Comfortable leading projects using internal as
well as external data sources
Build analytics solutions, statistical modeling
solutions, ETL processes and pipelines, or software as appropriate to provide insight
and meet business needs
Assist the business in the development of
reporting systems, performance metrics, data automation systems, and
predictions that support key business decisions and facilitate monitoring of,
among other things: supplier metrics, commodities and related market risk,
product quality, pricing, costs, delivery time, profitability, and business
risk.
Leverage in-depth technical knowledge of
predictive analytics, statistics, modelling techniques and simulation
approaches to enable a shift from reactivity to proactivity.
Handle priority or new assignments with
strategic implications across the organization
Work in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking environment
to identify work priorities
Communicate effectively with a wide variety of
people from different hierarchies and varied technical levels
Motivate change and collaborate with others,
including virtual & global teams to reach desired goals
Identify and solve a variety of problems; face complex
situations by acting with nuance, great tact, and diplomacy to overcome
cultural hesitance/inertia and build momentum
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field.
- 6+ years of work experience in a quantitative/analytics field
- In-depth experience in one or more programing language
- Ability to solve real-world business problems using quantitative and computational techniques
- Demonstrated capacity to use quantitative analytics in a way that leads to true business value/understanding
- Experience with machine learning solutions and statistical
analysis methods promotion using tools like Python, SQL, or R
